Submit vs Save

Hi,
There needs to be some clarity on saving vs submitting questions and homework. There should be a clear (to the student) way to save unfinished work without asking it to be graded. In order to keep the UI simple, perhaps after saving a dialog box should come up asking if you want to submit this as final, with an explanation that it may still be edited until XXX time/date.

But you may resubmit the assignments as many times as you wish. So why not just "submit" your work to save it, even if you're not finished with it?

In my case, the code always stay saved if I run it. If I close the browser and come back later, it's still there. I agree with @mathprof, though
