Definition of Failure HW 3-3

Hello all,

When Sebastian provides the option, "It will likely fail," in HW 3-3 what does he mean by "fail"? When he explains the "Works Fine" option, he says "It will work just fine with perhaps slightly larger error." Then by failure does he mean it will be a significantly larger error than in the "Works Fine" option? Or does he mean that for some reason the program will crash?

Thanks, Andy! My search for HW 3-3 threads was insufficient, my apologies.
