What is the unit of the noise paramters that we need to handle in part 6 of homework 3?

actually, you dont need to worry about units here.

but as the noise is used as the standard deviation in the gaussian, its unit would be the same as the according quantity:

  • for distance_noise it is the unit of distance which is not defined in the lecture, you could think of meters or yards,...)
  • for bearing_noise and steering_noise it is the unit of angles: radians)

That's how I used them. I just wanted to make sure the noise was not like 100th of the main unit or something like that.
