Need help understanding exact motion video (#16)

I need some help understanding why the probability shifts.

Why, if the robot know how much it moves, we need to shift the probability right, can we just leave the probability as it is?

well, I read all the question posted about this, including the one you pointed out before writing my question but I didn't find anything that helped. That's why I'm reposting this question.

Well, after reading your question and the post above, I don't understand what you don't understand :-)

If Robot was in cell-1 and then shifted to the right it will now be in cell-2. Therefore the probability that it is now in cell-2 == probability that it was previously in cell-1. Similarly, probability that it is now in cell-3 == probability that it was previously in cell-2. The net effect is that the probabilities for all cells shifts/rotates to the right.
